PUMA Toronto Women's Run Series The PUMA Toronto Women's Run Series is one of Canada's largest women's running series. The races create opportunities for women to be healthy and active in an inspiring, fun, and friendly environment. These races are as competitive or recreational as you want them to be. Each year, more than 4,000 women set the pace and run through Sunnybrook Park and the Toronto Park system, in the heart of the city, thus creating one of Toronto's most popular running series. Since its inception, more than 40,000 women and girls have crossed our finish lines. This is the longest running women's race series in the country.
The series consists of three events in the year: May hosts the signature event, the Half Marathon/10K/5K. In August, there is the 10K/5K, and in October, we wrap up the season with the 8K/5K.
When the pandemic began in 2020, we added virtual races and virtual Challenge events to our offerings. The 416 Run Challenge and 416 Run Challenge GOLD were created to encourage our community to stay active, engaged and fit during this time. Our exclusive charitable partner for the series is the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). More than $400,000 has been raised for POGO since 2009. POGO has created a highly integrated and seamless pediatric cancer system that supports children and families throughout the spectrum of illness, recovery and survivorship. They strive to improve the quality of life for the children and their families who are fighting the battle with cancer.

Sporting Life 10K The Sporting Life 10K takes place in Toronto with more than 25,000 participants. This is Canada's second largest single running event. The iconic, downhill route (right through the heart of Toronto) is one of Canada's fastest 10K's anywhere, and combined with the great atmosphere and amazing charitable cause, makes the Sporting Life 10k one of the "bucket list" runs in the country. In 2019, the run raised more than $2.1 million dollars for Camp Ooch, a charity that allows children with and affect by cancer to go to camp. Camp Ooch provides fun and meaningful experiences to approximately 1000 kids affected by childhood cancer each year, and at no cost to the families.

Rebecca Run for SMA The Rebecca Run for SMA is a family friendly event raising money for Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Canada (FSMAC). Each year the run sees more than 750 participants – from runners, families with children suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy and those who have lost a loved one to the disease – all gather at Fairy Lake in Newmarket for a great day of fun and support.
The run includes something for everyone: a 5k Run/Walk and a 1k Kid’s Fun Run.
Since the run began in 2002, more than $2.8 million has been raised for FSMAC, a charity that directs 95% of donations to funding research for a cure.
